After being dropped from 2024 due to flooding, Valencia returns on the MotoGP calendar this year to host the season finale.
Newly-crowned nine-time world champion Marc Marquez remains absent due to injury, but Jorge Martin returns to action this weekend on the factory Aprilia.
Martin, however, will have to serve a double long lap penalty in Sunday's race, with stewards blaming him for causing a collision with Marco Bezzecchi in Motegi sprint - the very incident that forced the Spaniard to miss the following five rounds.
