2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 R
The long-standing partnership between Ducati and Aruba will continue for a twelfth consecutive season in the Superbike World Championship, with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team officially unveiling its 2026 programme at a gala launch event in Italy.
More than 200 invited guests, media and institutional representatives gathered at the Aruba Auditorium for the first public reveal of the new Ducati Panigale V4 R machines, presented in their 2026 race liveries during an evening hosted by Sky Sport MotoGP presenters Vera Spadini and Rosario Triolo.
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RThe launch carries additional significance as Ducati enters its Centenary year, a milestone woven directly into the visual identity of the 2026 WorldSBK challenger. Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali introduced the new Panigale V4 R in its distinctive Rosso Centenario colour scheme, featuring a matte red finish and double white stripe. The colour pays tribute to Ducati’s earliest competition heritage, referencing the 1949 Ducati 60 and the 1955 Gran Sport Marianna, both landmark machines in the company’s racing and engineering history.
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RDomenicali underlined the strategic importance of the Superbike project within Ducati’s broader racing ecosystem, describing WorldSBK as the championship where the brand’s most advanced production-based motorcycles are refined season by season. He also highlighted how technologies developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse continue to feed directly into the Panigale V4 R, reinforcing the technical crossover between MotoGP and Superbike.
Domenicali placed the 2026 campaign firmly within Ducati’s broader historical narrative, noting the brand’s deep roots in WorldSBK since the championship’s inception in 1988 and its status as the most successful manufacturer in the category.
Claudio Domenicali – CEO Ducati Motor Holding
“This is our Centenary year, a long and exciting journey that in 1988 crossed paths with the birth of the Superbike World Championship, where Ducati has been a protagonist since the very first edition. A fundamental chapter in our history which, with 21 Manufacturers’ titles and 16 Riders’ titles won over 38 seasons, sees us today as the most successful manufacturer in the category. Superbike is the championship of our most advanced supersport motorcycles, developed season after season thanks to the experience gained on track. The new Panigale V4 R embodies this journey: it integrates solutions developed together with Ducati Corse – from the Ducati Vehicle Observer to the Corner Sidepods, from the new electronic strategies to the Ducati Racing Gearbox – to be even more competitive in the World Championship and allow Ducatisti to experience the thrill of being real riders. To celebrate 100 years of history, the bikes feature the Rosso Centenario livery, the same celebratory colour also used in MotoGP. In this journey, Aruba plays an essential role: a partnership that has grown over 12 years thanks to the vision of Stefano Cecconi, a professional passionate about motorcycling, and which today represents a key reference point for our sporting project. We approach this highly significant season with the ambition of confirming ourselves as protagonists and continuing to build a story of which we are deeply proud.”
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RTeam Principal Stefano Cecconi reflected on the 2025 season before turning attention firmly to the year ahead. While poor weather disrupted pre-season testing at Jerez and Portimão, Cecconi expressed confidence that the team will complete its programme during the upcoming official tests in Australia, ahead of the season opener at Phillip Island.
Stefano Cecconi – Team Principal, Aruba.it Racing – Ducati
“We are embarking on this new challenge knowing that we gave it our all right up to the last corner of 2025 and fully aware that the season about to begin will be a tough test. The bar has been raised, as have expectations, but that is precisely what motivates us to work even harder. Unfortunately, the weather conditions during testing limited our time on the track and prevented us from fully discovering and understanding all the qualities of the new Panigale V4R. However, I am confident we will complete the planned programme during official testing in Australia and be ready for the first weekend. I have great confidence in our riders: Nicolò Bulega has already shown that he has what it takes to win the title, Iker Lecuona arrives with a wealth of experience, despite being only 26 years old, and I am sure he will prove his worth as soon as possible. Good luck to the whole team, we can’t wait to turn all our hard work into results and give all Ducatisti something to cheer about.”
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RSerafino Foti outlined the increasingly complex role of a modern WorldSBK team manager, particularly in adapting to challenging test conditions, while Ducati Corse figures Mauro Grassilli and Marco Zambenedetti expanded on the manufacturer’s parallel commitment to MotoGP and Superbike, and the technical development pathway that led to the 2026 Panigale V4 R. Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna addressed the room via video message from Malaysia, where Ducati’s MotoGP programme was testing, reinforcing the importance of steady progress across the season.
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RThe evening’s focal point came with the unveiling of the two race bikes that will be campaigned by Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona in 2026. Both riders later joined guests for autographs, photographs and informal discussions as anticipation builds for the new season.
From a sporting perspective, Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna was unambiguous about the team’s objectives.
“Our ambition is clear: to fight to the end for the world riders’ title and bring it back to Borgo Panigale,” he said, pointing to Bulega’s consistency and maturity as well as Lecuona’s talent as key ingredients for the campaign.
2026 Aruba Ducati Panigale V4 RBulega, runner-up in recent seasons, said he was eager to get back on track after a disrupted winter.
“Last year we fought for the title until the last race,” he said. “Now we have to put everything together and try to win the championship.”

Iker LecuonaWith a Centenary livery, a refined Panigale V4 R and a rider line-up focused squarely on the championship fight, Aruba.it Racing – Ducati heads into 2026 with an unwavering commitment to winning on the world stage.
