2026 Aussie Flat Track Nationals
The 2026 Yamaha Aussie Flat Track Nationals dates are locked in with six classes all vying for national titles including the prestigious Pro 450 crown to be decided over a grueling 29 races, across seven rounds.

The biggest change to the format in 2026 is the addition of the Over 35s support class, which for some racing dads means there is no excuse to not get on track and show the kids how it’s done!
This program change also means their is a clear path of progression for younger riders moving up the ranks from Junior Lites to Pro 450 (b) and Pro 450 based on their true speed.

Located on the idyllic Fraser Coast 260 km north of Brisbane, competitors will race over two days on both the flat track and TT layouts. The next stop is Wodonga over August 29-30 on the NSW/Victorian border with the same flat track and TT layout mix.
After a huge success last season with bumper crowds, Griffith returns under lights for the ultimate test of race fitness on October 10 where competitors will race both the flat and TT tracks on the same day.

Dave Maddock – Series Organiser
“We’re very excited to officially announce our 2026 dates for the Yamaha Aussie Flat Track Nationals series. Last year we continued taking national level flat track to the regions. Maryborough, Wodonga and Griffith were very well received by locals as well as our finale at Gunnedah. Having both flat track and the TT course on the one day at Griffith was a huge challenge for our riders but it turned into a great party in the evening with an electric atmosphere. We feel that now we have hit on a strong combination of venues the time was right to modify the support classes and introduce the Over 35s. If you’ve spent some time on the sidelines sorting out the kids, now is the perfect time to get back on track. Flat track is traditionally very family oriented and after the success of Pro Women last year, we keep striving to make the sport as accessible as possible. With 29 races programmed for Pro 450, this series is seriously demanding and the finale track at Gunnedah’s Balcary Park always produces intense action. We can’t wait to bring you the best flat track racing in Australia again in 2026!”
