2026 bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup
2026 will mark the eighth season of the BLU CRU Oceania Junior Cup (OJC), with 17 riders now confirmed and the 2026 roster and calendar released.
The 2026 OJC field draws from across Australia and New Zealand and features 11 rookies, with the remaining riders returning to the Yamaha BLU CRU academy.
The one-make program is designed to support young riders as they build skills, race craft and professionalism, with identical Yamaha YZF-R15 machinery, LS2 helmets and Ricondi riding gear supplied. Coaching is led by former 500 GP race winner Garry McCoy.
2026 bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup 17 rider line-up revealedThe Oceania Junior Cup’s developmental credentials have been clear since the category launched in 2019, providing a proven platform for young riders to build experience and progress into higher levels of circuit racing.
The 2026 OJC season will begin under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park on March 27–28, before heading to The Bend (May 7–9), Morgan Park Raceway (May 29–31) and Queensland Raceway (June 26–28). All four rounds will run alongside the 2026 Penrite Australian Superbike Championship presented by Pirelli (ASBK).
The OJC also carries official Australian Junior Road Race Championship status.
The Cup will compete at SMP, The Bed, Morgan Park and Queensland Raceway, for four rounds total in 20262026 OJC line-up

The 2026 OJC riders will complete a two-day training camp at Winton Motor Raceway on March 2-3 as a final pre-season shakedown, where McCoy will be joined by fellow coaches Ty Lynch and Archie McDonald.
Lynch (ASBK Superbike) and McDonald (Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup) are both active circuit racers, while McDonald will also take on a broader ambassadorial role.
As well as building a rapport with their YZF-R15s at Winton, the 17 OJC riders will also take part in media training and other off-track activities such as data evaluation and physical and mental preparation.
