ASBK 2026

Onyabike KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech

Onyabike KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech will field a two-rider assault on the 2026 ASBK Championship with two riders who are well known to Australian racing fans.

Five-time ASBK champion Josh Waters will be joined by Harry Voight for the full ASBK Championship season.

Waters will continue with the Onyabike KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech Team after wrapping up a record-breaking fifth championship in 2025. The rider from Mildura, Victoria, has now set his sights on another championship in an attempt to become the first rider since Shawn Giles to win three ASBK titles in a row. Check out this in-depth interview with Josh Waters here.  It is worth mentioning that Giles’ championship-winning run was halted by a teenage team-mate; could that happen again in 2026?

Young Harrison Voight will join the team full-time for the 2026 ASBK season while also contesting the full season of the Spanish CEV FIM JuniorGP Championship in the Moto2 category.

Josh Waters made his debut with the McMartin Racing with K-Tech Team at the MotoGP support races in 2022. After that stunning performance, Josh was drafted into the team for the remainder of the ASBK season. In the following three years, as the team’s full-time rider, Josh has gone on to wrap up two ASBK titles, including a stunning second in 2023, his first full year with the team. Waters has recorded twenty-three ASBK race wins and thirty-nine podiums in McMartin Racing with K-Tech colours.

Queenslander Voight has also been impressive in his limited ASBK guest appearances with the Onyabike KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech Team since his debut in 2024. In 2026, Voight will look to add to his imposing ASBK Superbike record of one race win and five podiums from only seven race starts.

Harry has already got his preparation for 2026 underway in style, taking two race wins and the round win on board the Onyabike KW Civil McMartin Racing with K-Tech V4R at the second round of the St. George Summer Night Series last weekend.

2026 is shaping up to be a big year for both myself, and an expanded team. I am really excited to have Harry on the team for the full ASBK season in 2026. He has proven himself to be one of the best up-and-coming riders, and his results in the three ASBK rounds he has contested with the team back that up. Josh is, well, he is like a member of my family, and he is a perfect fit for our family-based team. I think Josh and Harry make one of the best combinations in ASBK and I am looking forward to round one in only a months’ time”.

The team will test at Phillip Island next week. Recent changes to ASBK regulations have seen the Ducati lose 1000 rpm from its top end with a new mandated rev limit of 15,500 rpm.
