Hunter hits back

Jett holds red as Lawrence domination continues

Hunter Lawrence turned the screws on the AMA Pro Motocross 450 championship fight at High Point, the Australian taking a commanding 1-1 sweep to claim his second overall win of the season and move to within two points of brother and Honda HRC Progressive team-mate Jett Lawrence.

High Point – Hunter Lawrence

Hunter grabbed both 450 holeshots and led both motos from start to finish, posting the fastest lap in each outing as he controlled the day at Mt. Morris.

Hunter Lawrence

“You always show up and try to do your best, and this weekend I wanted to go back to base. That was what I was after, and it gave me the feedback, connectivity and trust that I needed—I was happy with that. Me and Jett are two from two against each other in the first four rounds. I really wanted to kind of stop the momentum. I feel like in Thunder Valley, my riding and speed were good enough to win; I ended up having some very uncharacteristic crashes throughout the day that were just frustrating because I don’t make those mistakes normally. Now I have another goal for the next four rounds. The work doesn’t stop.”

Jett, who was fastest in qualifying, had to work harder after an 11th-place start in the opening moto, but still charged to second within five laps before backing that up with another second in moto two to retain the red plate, despite his obvious discomfort due to his still recovering ankle.

Jett Lawrence

“Hunter got one back on me today, but it’s really cool, us brothers going back-and-forth winning. My ankle didn’t hurt; it was more just the riding ability—I can’t use it that much. I’d love to be using both of my legs, but today it had to be a lot more on my arms, which made it a little bit difficult. But it’s still getting better and better. It’s about trying to be smooth and working with the track. Obviously, today I wasn’t as good, but it was still good enough to go 2-2. Hunter was just riding really well—it doesn’t happen very often that someone kind of pulls away, but I just didn’t feel good on the track all day. I tried taking some of his lines, and he still gapped me. I was like, Today’s not my day, so I just kind of cruised. We’re looking forward to this off-weekend, doing some testing, relaxing a little bit, then coming back to Redbud.”

The Lawrence brothers have now split the opening four rounds between them, with two overall wins apiece, all four coming via 1-1 sweeps. Between them, Hunter and Jett have won all eight 450 motos staged so far this season, taken six holeshots, and led every lap but one.

High Point also marked Hunter’s third career premier-class overall victory.  Jett continues to lead the championship by two points heading into the first summer break, with the series resuming at RedBud on July 4.

Mason Semmens impresses at Glen Helen WORCS

Mason Semmens claimed second at Glen Helen WORCS in Devore, CA over the weekend, finishing behind Lynn Tyler as the series takes its mid-season break.

Semmens leads the overall Pro 450 standings on 136-points, ahead of Demartile Dare on 132 and Tyler on 126-points.

Mason Semens

“P2 [at Glen Helen WORCS] heading into a little summer break. Maintained the points lead, life’s good, gonna be a fun second half the year battling for this championship with the fellas.”

WORCS resumes in August for the Preston, ID round on the 28th-30th, followed by Delta, UT; Mesquite, NV; and Parker, AZ, with the year end banquet in December.

Bou stays perfect in TrialGP

The TrialGP of Italy returned to Camerino for round three of the 2026 Hertz FIM Trial World Championship, the central-eastern Italian venue hosting world championship competition for the first time since 1992.

It proved a proper test. Heat, loose shale, steep climbs and a lack of dependable grip made life difficult across the two days, even for reigning champion Toni Bou, but the Montesa rider again found a way to keep his unbroken 2026 winning run intact.

Toni BouToni Bou

Saturday’s opening TrialGP contest saw Bou take control early after starting at the back of the field courtesy of his Super Test performance. He was on just one mark before taking a maximum on section six, and later added another five on section twelve, but his total of 16 was still good enough to win by 11 marks from home favourite Matteo Grattarola.

Miquel Gelabert was third in that opening race on the Honda RTL Electric, a notable result for the sole electric machine in the premier class, while Jaime Busto was fourth and Gabriel Marcelli had to settle for sixth after a difficult run.

Grattarola gave the Italian crowd even more to cheer in Saturday’s second race. The Beta rider went with Bou for much of the contest and briefly looked capable of halting the Spaniard’s run, only for Bou to regroup through the final hazards and edge the win by two marks. Busto was third, with Marcelli winning a tie-break for fourth ahead of Gelabert.

Sunday brought more of the same from Bou, though again it was far from a procession. Busto ran with him through the early sections of Race 1 before a maximum on section six gave Bou the gap he needed. Bou added only one further maximum, on the technical climb at the end of section ten, to claim another win, with Busto second and Gelabert again third.

Marcelli then came alive in Sunday’s second race despite injuring his hand in an early crash. The Repsol Honda HRC rider led after the first five zones and kept the pressure on Bou deep into the contest, but Bou’s clean on section eight brought him back level before he pulled clear in the closing hazards.

Bou finished Race 2 on eight, with Marcelli second on 19 despite two late maximums. Hugo Dufrese impressed in third for Beta, one mark ahead of Grattarola, while Jack Peace rounded out the top five ahead of Gelabert.

Toni Bou topping the Day Two podium in Italy

The result moved Bou to 240 points at the top of the TrialGP standings, while Marcelli remains second on 170. Gelabert, after two fourth-place overall finishes for the weekend, is fifth in the championship on 142.

Abellan answers Rabino challenge

Berta Abellan arrived in Italy under pressure after Andrea Sofia Rabino had beaten her on both days in Andorra, but the defending TrialGP Women champion responded in the best possible fashion.

Berta Abellan

The Scorpa rider won both races on Saturday, first clearing out by 13 marks over Rabino before doubling up in Race 2 with a score of seven, half that of her Italian rival. Alice Minta completed the second-race podium, while Kaytlyn Adshead and Denisa Pechackova were also in the mix across the opening day.

Sunday was closer, particularly early in Race 1, where Abellan’s opening-section dab gave Rabino the first advantage. The pair were level by section eight, before section nine proved decisive. Abellan took a three, Rabino a five, and the Spaniard went on to finish on six, three marks clear. Pechackova was third, ahead of Adshead and Alessia Bacchetta.

Race 2 again came down to Abellan and Rabino, who were tied on one mark each entering section eight. From there Abellan edged clear, adding only a two and a final-section single to finish on four. Rabino was second on eight, with Bacchetta third, Minta fourth and Pechackova fifth.

It was a clean sweep that not only restored Abellan’s authority in Italy, but also reasserted her championship defence after Rabino’s strong Andorran challenge.

Gelabert keeps the RTL Electric in the fight

Miquel Gelabert’s weekend was another important one for Honda Montesa’s RTL Electric project. The Spaniard was third in the opening race on Saturday and again third in Sunday’s first TrialGP outing, each time showing that the electric machine could fight at the front in proper world championship conditions.

Saturday’s second race proved more demanding, with high temperatures and time pressure taking a toll, but Gelabert still finished fifth, tied on marks with Marcelli. On Sunday he again challenged for the podium before mistakes late in Race 2, including one on section 12 and another on the final zone, cost him a shot at a better result.

Even so, back-to-back fourth-place overall finishes for the weekend marked another solid step forward for the RTL Electric in the premier TrialGP class.

Turner breaks through in Trial2

Trial2 again delivered some of the most unpredictable racing of the weekend.

Benoit Bincaz took the Saturday overall for Electric Motion after winning Race 1 and backing that up with fifth in Race 2. Series leader Alex Canales was second overall for the day, while George Hemingway took third after winning Race 2 with a superb four-mark ride.

Harry Turner

Sunday belonged to Harry Turner. The 20-year-old Sherco rider claimed his first Trial2 race win in the opening contest, edging Canales by a single mark, then backed it up with an even stronger second-race performance, losing just three marks to complete the double.

It was Turner’s first Trial2 podium as well as his first overall victory at this level, and it immediately dragged him into the title discussion. Canales retains the championship lead, but Farré, Hemingway and Turner have all closed the gap.

Mazzola and Fontdevila leave Italy with points leads

Fabio Mazzola made full use of home advantage in Trial3 Junior. The Italian won both races on Saturday to reclaim the championship lead, then backed that up on Sunday with a win and a second place to extend his advantage.

Fabio Mazzola

Harison Skelton limited the damage with second in Sunday’s opening race, but fourth in Race 2 behind Edio Poncia cost him further ground. Oriol Garcia Campano won Sunday’s final race, edging Mazzola by a single mark.

Trial2 Women joined the 2026 championship in Italy and Queralt Fontdevila made consistency count. Matilda Arbon won Saturday’s opening race, while Abril Montserrat Junque bounced back to win Race 2, but Fontdevila’s pair of second-place finishes gave her the day’s overall victory.

The Beta rider repeated that two-two scorecard on Sunday to extend her early series lead. Arbon again won the opening race, while Justyna Lonycz claimed her first win of the season in Race 2, but Fontdevila’s consistency made the difference across the weekend.

The 2026 Hertz FIM Trial World Championship now heads to the United Kingdom, with round four set for Anglesey from July 24-26.

Cooper Antone just misses SGP3 World Championship podium

Polish youngster Franciszek Szczyrba sent the home crowd into raptures at Wroclaw’s Olympic Stadium when he claimed the Beckhoff FIM SGP3 World Championship, the sport’s under-16 250 cc world title.

Landon (right) got the edge over Jamil Jensen (left) and Cooper Antone in the run-off

Szczyrba topped the meeting on 14 points after four straight wins to finish the night, while American Brady Landon, Denmark’s Elias Jamil Jensen and Australia’s Cooper Antone all finished locked together on 13 points.

That forced a three-rider run-off for the silver and bronze medals, where Landon claimed second overall and Jensen third, leaving Antone fourth after going agonisingly close to a world championship podium.

It was still an impressive performance from the young Australian, already a double SGP4 silver medallist, and another reminder that there is plenty of emerging Aussie talent coming through behind the current senior Speedway GP contingent.

Ken Roczen confirmed for AUSX Open Geelong

Ken Roczen has been confirmed as the headline international for the 2026 Boost Mobile AUSX Open Geelong, presented by Monster Energy, at GMHBA Stadium on November 7.

The reigning AMA Supercross 450SX Champion’s appearance gives Australian fans a rare chance to see one of the sport’s biggest names racing locally, with Roczen’s 2026 title marking a remarkable return to the top after the severe arm injury and long rehabilitation period that followed his 2017 crash.

Ken Roczen – 2026 AMA Supercross 450 Champion

AUSX Open’s move to Geelong also marks a new chapter for the event, with GMHBA Stadium set to host what organisers say will be the largest and most dynamic AUSX Open track yet. The venue shift is also expected to bring an expanded pit paddock, larger Monster Energy Fan Fest, premium hospitality offerings and greater rider access.

AUSX CEO Adam Bailey said securing Roczen, alongside support from Visit Victoria and Geelong Major Events, was a major milestone for the event as it looks to further establish itself among the world’s leading international supercross fixtures.

More international riders are still to be announced. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, June 25, with presale access from today via ausxopen.com.au.

Traralgon prepares for AusProMX showdown

The 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX) is building towards round six at Loy Yang Park circuit on Sunday, July 12.

Following the fifth round in Appin, NSW, the nation’s best motocross riders will descend on Traralgon for what promises to be an exhilarating day of racing.

The round also marks the return of the EZILIFT MXW class, which has been absent since round one in Wonthaggi.

The battle between Honda’s Charli Cannon, Yamaha’s Lachlan ‘Lala’ Turner and Kawasaki’s Taylah McCutcheon is set to be even more explosive, as all three riders have been contesting the ultra-competitive US Women’s Motocross Championship before they fly home to resume their Australian title fight.

The classes competing in Traralgon are Kawasaki MX1; Pirelli MX2; MAXXIS MX3 and EZILIFT MXW.

Jed Beaton

Jed Beaton leads the MX1 class, having dominated at Appin, extending his lead to 54-points over Kyle Webster and Aaron Tanti, on 191 and 190-points respectively.

Appin’s MX2 winner also leads the class, with Alex Larwood holding 209-points, with Kayd Kingsford nipping at his heels on 199, followed by Byron Dennis (182) and Dylan Walsh (173).

The MX3 class was a tight fought affair at Appin, the top three separated by two-points, with Jackson Fuller coming out on top, ahead of Heath Fisher and Hayden Downie. Draper retains a strong lead on 209-points, with Fisher, Burgess and Fuller in close contention in second through fourth, on 179, 177 and 171-points respectively.

The KTM Group MX65 Futures won’t be competing Traralgon.

NZ National Club Enduro Series (NCES) Wraps Up

Sam Parker wrapped up the 2026 National Club Enduro Series Expert title in dramatic fashion at the fourth and final round near Atiamuri, with the Taranaki Husqvarna rider winning the four-hour decider by just 17 seconds over Riley Cargill.

Callum Dudson had led the series from the opening round, but a first-lap clash with a tree left him with a badly injured hand and ended his title hopes. Parker still had to finish the job, and did so emphatically, topping five of the day’s six special stages to seal the crown by 19 points.

Cargill finished third in the Expert series, behind Parker and Dudson, while Angus Thomas completed a clean sweep of the Intermediate class with four wins from four rounds. Dominic Spanbroek claimed the Youth title despite finishing fourth at the Atiamuri finale, while the Forestland Motorcycle Club-hosted round drew more than 130 riders.

Cody Lewis wins Central Coast Cup 2026

With Peter Baker

The 20th staging of the Splitfire Spark Plugs Central Coast Cup long track meeting last weekend (June 20 & 21) was a milestone in itself and fans who witnessed the racing where left with good memories of two days of close and dramatic action.

The Central Coast Cup races for seniors and juniors (13 to Under 16s) wrapped up the big programme on Sunday afternoon with both eight lap finals only resolved after close encounters for either the race lead or for minor placings.

There will not be a new name added to the honour roll of Senior Cup winners as 2024 winner Cody Lewis added another victory to his record but only after what he acknowledged did not come easy.

At least early in the final Lewis was pressured by four-time winner David Smith who later said he was simply pleased to be back on the track after suffering some serious injuries in the corresponding meeting last year.

The very experienced Grant Charnock finished third despite not enjoying the eight lap journey, but he did enjoy the one-lap dash of the Shootout where he scored the win.

Defending Cup champion Luke Bush did well to finish fourth, ahead of impressive teenagers Thomas Gotts and Jayden Holder, after being forced to ride a 250cc machine after his 450cc machine had expired at the end of the earlier Pro 450 final.

Lewis also won that Pro 450 final ahead of David Smith and Thomas Gotts, but Gotts was an impressive winner of the MX Open final beating Lewis and Bush in one of the highlights of the meeting.

Bush had success in the 250cc class claiming the John Wilkes Memorial Trophy with a dominant display while the rest of the field turned on their own stirring battles for the minor placings, while David Smith overcome Josh McCosker to again win the Over 35s class.

The Junior Central Coast Cup had no previous winners among its line-up and it emerged that host club rider Levi Meyn triumphed after holding last year’s runner-up Tahj Edwards at bay for the entire journey with Hayden Duggan coming home third.

All the junior racing took on an added perspective with many visiting riders, who travelled from as far away as Townsville, Albury and Griffith, taking the opportunity of getting some experience on the track in preparation for the Australian Junior Track Championship meeting at the venue on October 3 & 4.

Levi Meyn also won the supporting 4–stroke class as well as the junior Shootout.

Of the nine junior classes covering the various age brackets Gold Coast rider Cooper Quinn was the only dual winner while there were also wins for Forbes riders Hayden Duggan and Taylah Duggan, host club riders Cade Finn and Cohen McCosker, Oscar Ryan from Albury-Wodonga and Kruze Anderson from Kurri Kurri.

The quality of the racing turned on by the juniors augers well for the national title meeting in October when an even bigger line-up of young talent is expected to compete.

Ethan Lane wins Baja TT Dehesa Extremadura

A heatwave in Badajoz over the weekend added to rider’s challenges, alongside the dust at Spain’s Baja TT Dehesa Extremadura, marking round three of the FIM Bajas World Cup.

Competitors faced a 4.3 km Prologue on Friday and two 211 km loops of special stages on Saturday, with the final special stage shortened by half to stay on schedule.

Ethan Lane

In a repeat of last year, it was a young Briton who won the Baja in Spain – Ethan Lane. Favourite Alex McInnes crashing out in the Prologue.

On the start line of the 4.3 km Prologue at Campo Maior, there were 18 FIM riders – 14 motorcycles and four quads. Last year’s young winner McInnes was the first to start without a hitch on the gravel track but was taken to hospital following his crash, resulting in a maximum time penalty and last place. McInnes came back stronger on Saturday morning and easily won the first stage. Unfortunately, due to his penalty, he remained at the back of the pack in the overall standings.

Sara Garcia led the provisional standings at the end of the first stage on her Yamaha. But Prologue winner Ethan Lane (KTM) regained the lead and won the shortened second stage.

Garcia, nevertheless, finished in a very respectable second overall, followed by Paulo Cardoso (Kove), Abdulhalim Al-Mogheera (KTM), and Mohammed Al-Balooshi (Husqvarna). There was bad luck for Hungarian rider Richard Hodola, who fractured his toe in the first stage.

Victory fell to Portuguese rider Jorge Sampaio in the quad category. He finished ahead of Ahmed Al-Jaber and Abdulaziz Al-Atawi. Hani Al-Noumesi experienced mechanical problems and started the second loop outside his time limit. Matteo Bottino (Kove) won the Trail category.

Sara Garcia topped the standings in the Women’s category, ahead of Joanna Modrzewska. Ethan Lane also won the Juniors, finishing ahead of McInnes and Antonio Feliciano.

Paulo Cardoso was the top Veteran and completed the event ahead of Mohammed Al-Balooshi and Joanna Modrzewska.

ANZAC sweep as Lawrence, Davies and Cannon win High Point

The AMA Pro Motocross Championship made its first East Coast stop of the season at High Point Raceway, the long-running Pennsylvania venue affectionately known as the “Country Club of Motocross”. The 49th running of the High Point National had plenty of history behind it, but this year’s edition also carried immediate championship weight in both Pro Motocross classes, along with a key mid-season moment for WMX.

Hunter Lawrence holding the High Point 450MX winner’s trophyHunter Lawrence celebrates his 450MX overall win after a 1-1 sweep at High Point.

Jett Lawrence arrived at High Point with the 450MX red plate, back-to-back 1-1 round wins behind him, and a four-year winning run at the venue that stretched back to his final 250 season. By the end of the day, that streak was over, as Hunter Lawrence produced his cleanest round of the summer and went 1-1 to move to within two points of his younger brother in the championship.

Jett Lawrence

In 250MX, Cole Davies turned a day of speed into a day of domination. The New Zealander topped qualifying, took both motos, claimed his first outdoor overall victory, and turned what had already been a tight title fight into a four-rider contest covered by only seven points.

WMX added another strong Australasian thread to the weekend, with Charli Cannon finally converting her pace into a U.S. victory. Cannon and reigning champion Lachlan Turner both left High Point on 42 points for the round, but Cannon’s second-moto win gave her the overall on countback.

MXGP of Italy – Round Nine Wrap

See the full report and results here:
Herlings and Sacha Coenen master Montevarchi at MXGP of Italy

The MXGP paddock returned to Montevarchi for the first time in 20 years and the old-school Miravalle circuit did not offer an easy welcome back.

Hot, dry conditions on Saturday were followed by a more unsettled Sunday, with the rocky hard-pack surface, limited traction and later rain making the Tuscan hillside circuit a very different challenge across the weekend.

Jeffrey Herlings

After the Coenen twins had made MXGP history in Latvia, Lucas and Sacha arrived in Italy still carrying the red plates in MXGP and MX2, respectively. Montevarchi, however, did not deliver another twin sweep. Jeffrey Herlings put Honda HRC PETRONAS back on the top step in MXGP, while Sacha Coenen showed the value of consistency in MX2, taking the Grand Prix overall without winning either moto.

It was also a significant weekend for Triumph Factory Racing, with Guillem Farres and Camden McLellan sharing the MX2 race wins and both moving up in the championship standings, while Francisco Garcia continued to tighten his grip on the EMX250 series with another perfect 1-1 scorecard.

There was plenty of Australian interest in the EMX250, but the final numbers did not tell the whole story. Liam Owens was excellent in Race One, finishing second and setting the fastest lap of the moto. Race Two, however, ended almost immediately, leaving him 10th overall despite the speed he had shown on Saturday.

Jake Cannon

Jake Cannon also had to fight for his points. The Australian finished sixth in Race One and 11th in Race Two, placing seventh overall. More importantly, he remains second in the EMX250 Championship, although Garcia’s perfect weekend stretched the gap at the top to 78 points.

Jake Cannon (6-11 – 7th Overall)

“I did my best to make the most of the situations I put myself in, but it was more difficult to make passes this morning; the track is really tight and there was mostly only one line today after they watered the track. But on to Portugal next weekend.”

McMahon wins as Snodgrass return spices up AusEnduro fight

The 2026 Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship presented by MXstore rolled into Casterton for Rounds Seven and Eight, and the Victorian sand delivered exactly the shake-up many had expected.

Korey McMahon

After the hard-pack, dust, rocks and ruts of Queensland Moto Park, Casterton offered a very different challenge. Recent rainfall had been quickly swallowed by the deep sand, leaving the venue in prime condition early, before ruts, braking bumps and rougher lines made the weekend progressively more demanding.

The Cross Country format returned on Saturday, followed by Sprint racing on Sunday, and across those two very different disciplines the outright fight finally took on a new shape. Wil Ruprecht maintained his perfect Pro Enduro run with victory in Saturday’s three-hour Cross Country, but by Sunday that unbeaten streak had come to an end.

Korey McMahon was the rider to stop it, the KTM DM31 Racing Team rider backing up his strong 2025 Casterton form with his first Pro Enduro victory of the 2026 season.

Silver Kings HEWC thriller goes Brightmore’s way in Idaho

Silver Kings delivered one of the tightest Hard Enduro World Championship finishes of recent seasons, with Mitch Brightmore getting the better of Trystan Hart and Manuel Lettenbichler in a three-way fight that ran all the way to the final climb at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, Idaho.

Silver Kings Hard Enduro podium with Mitch Brightmore, Trystan Hart and Manuel Lettenbichler after round three of the 2026 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.Mitch Brightmore topped the Silver Kings podium ahead of Trystan Hart and Manuel Lettenbichler after one of the closest Hard Enduro World Championship finishes of recent seasons.

Brightmore completed the six-lap Thunder Bowl Finale in 2h16m41.47 on his GASGAS, only 5.55 seconds clear of Hart’s KTM, with Lettenbichler third, 1m04.42 from the win.

That margin at the front told only part of the story. Teodor Kabakchiev was fourth for Sherco, but almost 13 minutes down on Brightmore, while Ashton Brightmore completed the top five for GASGAS. The leading trio were in a race of their own.

For Mitch Brightmore, this was the conversion of pressure into victory. He had already shown serious speed earlier in the season, pushing Lettenbichler all the way to the line at Extreme XL Lagares, but in Idaho he went one better. This time the final metres fell his way.

Garcia doubles in Fafe as Gutish seals Women’s EnduroGP world crown

The second of two consecutive EnduroGP weekends in Fafe delivered a perfect haul for Josep Garcia, a tightened Enduro3 title fight, and the first world championship crown of the 2026 season.

Josep Garcia and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team celebrate

Garcia swept both days of the GP of Portugal II for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, winning EnduroGP and Enduro1 on Saturday and Sunday to further strengthen his championship lead with two rounds remaining.

Behind him, Andrea Verona, Zach Pichon, Steve Holcombe and Hamish Macdonald all had their moments across another hot, dusty and demanding Portuguese weekend, while Australian Kyron Bacon finished the round strongly with eighth outright and fourth in Enduro2 on Sunday.

In Women’s Enduro, Rachel Gutish wrapped up the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship with a round to spare, but Shelby Turner was the rider on top of the podium both days, giving Triumph its first Women’s EnduroGP victory before completing a perfect weekend.

Kurtz loses Speedway GP lead as Holder and Doyle crash out in Wroclaw

Two weeks after Manchester delivered one of the great Australian Speedway GP weekends, Wroclaw provided a far harsher reminder of how quickly the sport can swing.

Max Fricke, Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder had locked out the Round Three podium in Manchester before Kurtz backed that up 24 hours later by winning Round Four and taking over the championship lead. Australia had the winner of the previous two Speedway GP finals, three riders on the Manchester podium, and Kurtz heading to Poland as the man on top of the world standings.

By the end of a storm-delayed night at Wroclaw’s Olympic Stadium, the picture looked very different.

Bartosz ZmarzlikBartosz Zmarzlik

Bartosz Zmarzlik won the 2026 DeWalt FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Wroclaw final ahead of Robert Lambert and Michael Jepsen Jensen, with Kurtz fourth. It was Zmarzlik’s first Speedway GP victory since June 2025, his record-extending 30th SGP win, and it returned the Polish star to the top of the World Championship standings.

For Kurtz, fourth place still brought 14 championship points and kept him very much in the title fight, but the championship lead changed hands. Zmarzlik now leads on 82 points, with Kurtz three behind on 79.
