2025 Hard Enduro Enduro World Championship
Round Seven – Roof of Africa

The 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship concluded in Lesotho with a demanding three-day Roof of Africa, where Manuel Lettenbichler finished second overall to close out his title-winning campaign, while Billy Bolt claimed third at the event to seal the runner-up spot in the championship.

The home-soil victory, however, went to South African teenager James Moore.

Arriving in Lesotho with the championship already secured after victory at his home round in Germany, Lettenbichler used the season finale to cement his dominance. The Red Bull KTM rider opened the Roof of Africa with the second-fastest time in Thursday’s Time Trial before a more difficult second day saw him finish 10th on the technical mountain course. A strong charge on Saturday put him back at the front as he completed the gruelling final stage in second place, less than a minute off the day’s fastest time. The accumulated times across the three days placed him second overall behind race winner James Moore.

For Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt, the weekend held greater stakes. Bolt entered the round second in the standings with only a single point separating him from Mitch Brightmore. Winning Thursday’s prologue gave the Brit crucial early points before the challenge of an early start position on day two left him down in 13th. Bolt rebounded strongly on the final day, steadily moving through the field to win Saturday’s stage and claim third overall for the event. That result was enough to confirm Bolt’s second place in the 2025 championship.

Mitch Brightmore finished fifth in Lesotho to secure third in the championship standings, while Mario Roman finished fourth at the Roof of Africa and ended the season fourth overall.

Mani’s 2025 campaign concludes with a fifth world title, reinforcing KTM’s status at the top of hard enduro.

For Bolt, he now shifts his focus to the SuperEnduro World Championship, which begins on December 13 in Poland. There, the Brit will begin his bid for a sixth consecutive indoor title.
