“I just can’t wait to hold this book in my hands and share it with my family, friends, fans and sponsors – it will be a truly special moment!”

The 120,000 word book saw more than 100 interviews conducted, so as to feature the memories of so many people who have all played a role in Stephen Gall’s remarkable career.
Scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2026, the book includes Forewords by MotoGP legend Mick Doohan, motocross legend Craig Dack and Mr Motocross promoter Vincent Tesoriero.
From his earliest days riding minibikes in the clay pits of Menai south of Sydney, through decades spent bringing a new level of professionalism to motorcycle racing alongside his ground-breaking Yamaha Academy of Off-Road Riding training courses, Stephen Gall has attacked life with the throttle pinned to the stops.
A four-time Mr Motocross champion and Australian Motorsport Hall of Fame inductee, Stephen Gall has conquered motocross, supercross, dirt track, road racing and the desert on bikes, while on four wheels he won an Australian Speedcar championship and has locked horns with the very best in speedway Sprintcar racing.
Off the track, Stephen Gall has trained and mentored many of Australia’s elite domestic and internationally-based motorcycle racers through programmes he developed with the Australian Institute of Sport, and has also been acclaimed for his role as the motorcycle stunt co-ordinator for the blockbuster Hollywood movie, Mad Max: Fury Road.
Through it all, Stephen Gall has enjoyed an unbroken 50-plus year partnership with global motorcycle giant Yamaha Motor Company, which continues to this day in his current role as a Yamaha adventure riding ambassador.
