Billy Bolt opened the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship with the overall win at the opening round in Gliwice, Poland and backed that up at round two overnight in Germany to extend his lead in the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship with a maximum points haul.  Jonny Walker secured second overall, and wildcard entrant Josep Garcia claimed a notable third-place finish.

Riding for Husqvarna Factory Racing, Bolt topped SuperPole and went on to win all three Prestige finals, continuing his strong start to the seven-round series. The result gives the reigning champion a 30-point advantage after two rounds.

Jonny Walker delivered another consistent performance for the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team, finishing second overall on the night with a 2-2-5 scorecard aboard the TF 450-E. After setting the fastest time in practice, Walker qualified fifth for race one following a small error in SuperPole but quickly moved into contention once racing began.

Walker briefly led the opening final after capitalising on a mistake from Bolt before finishing second. He repeated the result in race two after climbing through the field from a reverse-grid start. In race three, Walker recovered from an untidy start to challenge for a podium finish before a late mistake dropped him to fifth. He remains second in the championship standings heading into round three.

Josep Garcia impressed as a wildcard entry, securing third overall in just his second SuperEnduro appearance.

Josep Garcia impressed once again as a wildcard entry for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, taking third overall in just his second SuperEnduro appearance. The EnduroGP World Champion qualified second fastest in SuperPole and followed that with race finishes of fourth, sixth and second aboard the KTM 250 EXC-F. His second place in the final race was one of the standout rides of the evening.

Manuel Lettenbichler delivered a solid performance in front of his home crowd, finishing sixth overall with consistent results across all three races. Despite not quite having podium pace, the KTM rider maintained a strong championship position after two rounds.

Bolt’s night included a closely fought opening race with Walker, where the pair exchanged the lead several times before a late error from the Triumph rider allowed Bolt to secure the win. From there, Bolt controlled races two and three, pulling clear in both finals to complete a clean sweep.

After two rounds, the championship standings see Bolt leading on 123 points, followed by Walker on 93. Eddie Karlsson sits third on 79 points, with Mitch Brightmore fourth on 75. Garcia and Lettenbichler complete the top six.

The 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship continues on January 17 with round three in Bilbao, Spain, where Garcia will make his third and final wildcard appearance of the season.

I had a big crash in the final race and hurt my arm slightly, but I’m hopeful I can get some good training done this week and come back stronger for Bilbao.”

“To be honest, to finish on the podium at a round of SuperEnduro was not one of my goals this season. The plan was to come here, enjoy it, and just try to learn as much as possible. I gave 100 percent as always here in Germany, and it’s paid off. I really liked the track – it wasn’t too technical and suited my style quite well. After taking second in SuperPole, I didn’t have much luck in the first two race starts as I got tangled up a little. In the last race, I knew I had to get through and make a good start, and it all went well, thankfully. I pushed for the whole race, and it paid off. Thanks to all the team for helping me achieve one of my dreams and I’ll see you in Bilbao.”

“It’s been great to race in front of my home fans here in Germany – the atmosphere has been electric. The races went well; I got some pretty decent starts and managed to fight my way through the carnage most of the time. I was close to getting on the podium in race two but didn’t quite have the pace. In the last race, I got up to sixth and was able to stay there to the finish. I’m happy with sixth overall on the night and looking forward to the next one.”
