Talya Relph confirmed for 2026

Tayla Relph has secured a WCR berth for 2026 with Full Throttle Racing, marking her third full season in the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, after finishing 2025 in ninth overall.

The Victorian-based rider delivered her career best Superpole result of P5, a best race finish for 2025 of P6, and her closest ever margins to the leaders and the podium in the final round at Jerez. She closed out the year at Jerez in a ten rider battle to the finish, crossing the line only one second from a podium position.

“I am incredibly proud to represent Australia again in the 2026 WorldWCR Championship. Last season was a huge step forward for us. We worked so hard as a small Australian team and proved that we can challenge the best women in the world. Being given this opportunity again means everything.”

WorldWCR continues to grow rapidly as a global platform for women in motorsport, racing alongside the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at some of the most iconic circuits in Europe.

The series provides equal machinery on the Yamaha R7, allowing rider talent to shine while creating close, competitive racing.

Relph will again compete under Full Throttle Racing, the Australian run team she competed with throughout 2024 and 2025. The group will continue under Team Manager and Crew Chief Ted Collins, alongside mechanic Nick Primmer and long serving crew members Wayne Nicholson, Shane Kinderis, Steven Relph and Jon Collins.

“We are very proud of what we achieved in 2025. Tayla made huge progress in her riding, racecraft, and confidence, and the steps we took together were the biggest in her career so far. We are ready to build on everything we learned and take another big step in 2026.”

The 2026 WorldWCR season will officially begin with the Official Test on 23rd March at Portimao. Racing for Round One commences the following weekend at Portimao, Portugal.

“We have unfinished business,” Relph added. “We closed the gap to the front every round last season and proved we can run inside the lead group. The goal in 2026 is to take another step forward and fight for bigger results. We know what we are capable of now, and the fire is only getting bigger inside of me. I want to fight for the World Championship in 2026.”

At this stage, Relph will be the only Australian on the permanent WCR entry list, but fellow South Australian Tara Morrison also hopes to wildcard at some rounds.
