Jake Dixon Undergoes Successful Surgery in Melbourne

Honda HRC rider Jake Dixon has successfully undergone surgery at The Avenue Hospital to address multiple fractures to his left wrist and hand, injuries sustained in a crash during the second day of official WorldSBK testing at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit last Tuesday.

Following an initial medical evaluation at the circuit medical centre, Dixon was transported to Melbourne for further assessment. Subsequent imaging confirmed the extent of the fractures and the requirement for surgical stabilisation.

The procedure was completed without complications.

Dixon will now begin the rehabilitation phase, with further specialist reviews scheduled in the coming weeks to better define a recovery timeline and any potential return-to-competition window.
